Karina has been drawing for 3 years. She drew regularly as a kid but let it slide as her life became busy with work and family. Once her children were grown her time became her own again and she started to get a bit more serious.
Karina started airbrushing around 8 years ago and found that she gained skills and knowledge that helped her transition to colour pencils, as she understood tonal values because of the airbrushing.
Her great love has always been horses and Karina finds she has fewer aches and pains drawing them than riding them.
Most of her drawings are of horses and dogs and a lot of them are commissions for clients.
